Caseworker
About William Toal
William joined the Wilsons Public Law and Human Rights department as a caseworker in December 2025 and intends to undertake the SQE to qualify as a solicitor at the University of Law in January 2026. Prior to joining Wilsons, William studied Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent. His dissertation focussed on the disproportionate effects of climate change on developing countries, and the case for expanding international climate finance from historically high polluting industrialised states. During the pandemic, William volunteered with Shpresa to deliver essential items to unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. William will mainly be working on judicial review claims, with a focus on challenging age assessments and decisions that remove support for vulnerable people. Interests: Cooking, eating, camping
