About Theresa Schleicher
Theresa joined Wilsons in December 2025 as a caseworker in the immigration department.
Prior to that she worked at the NGO Medical Justice for 16 years, supporting people in immigration detention. At Medical Justice Theresa was Head of Casework and led on strategic litigation. She continues to contribute to Medical Justice’s training for clinicians writing medico-legal reports. She is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Working group for Mental Health and Forced Migration.
Theresa is experienced in working with vulnerable clients including people with a history of torture or other trauma and mental or physical health problems.
