About Rosa Pinard

Rosa qualified as a solicitor in 2024 and is an IAAS Senior Caseworker in the Immigration Department. She joined the firm in 2019, initially in the administration team, before becoming a caseworker in the immigration team in 2020.

Rosa advises clients across a broad range of immigration matters, with a particular interest and experience in judicial review, complex asylum and human rights applications and appeals in the First-tier and Upper Tribunals, and nationality applications. Her work is informed by a strong commitment to human rights and a longstanding interest in the protection of displaced and separated people, survivors of trafficking and other vulnerable clients.

Before joining the firm, Rosa held voluntary positions in the immigration team at Islington Law Centre and in the legal department at Freedom from Torture. She also worked and volunteered at Haringey Migrant Support Centre, where she was part of the management team and advocated for vulnerable visitors. While at university, she undertook an internship at the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative, contributing research assistance to academic publications on the censorship of political speech in Rwanda and the effect of colonial-era laws on modern Commonwealth countries.

Rosa graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies with a BA Honours in Law and Social Anthropology, focusing on international and comparative law and completing her dissertation on forced migration. She went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law with merit at City University and the Legal Practice Course with distinction at London Metropolitan University.

Rosa combines careful and detailed case preparation and strategic legal advice with a thoughtful and tenacious approach. She is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for those she represents.
