Rosa joined Wilsons in 2022. She completed her training with the Public Law and Human Rights team and qualified as a solicitor in June 2026.

Rosa represents clients in a wide range of civil and judicial review cases. She has experience working on a variety of judicial review claims, including challenging client’s unlawful detention under immigration powers, age assessments, and care needs assessments. Rosa also acts for clients in civil claims for damages against the Home Office and police. She has worked extensively on group challenges brought by the department, including for clients who were detained under the Rwanda policy, and individuals who were detained at the Manston holding facility. Rosa regularly works with vulnerable people, including asylum seekers, victims of sexual abuse, victims of trafficking and modern slavery, and children.

Rosa graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in History. She went on to complete the GDL with a Distinction. While studying she volunteered with MiCLU , assisting Albanian asylum seekers who arrived in the UK as unaccompanied children.

Prior to Wilsons, Rosa worked at an arts charity providing affordable programmes to older people. She has also worked as a researcher in both the arts and legal sectors.
