About Orla Papadakis
Orla joined Wilsons in October 2022 as an immigration caseworker. She provides advice and assistance on a range of immigration, asylum and human rights cases and undertakes both legally aided and privately funded work.
Orla studied Classics at Cambridge, graduating in 2018. She recently completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Law, passing with distinction.
Prior to joining Wilsons, Orla worked as a caseworker at Wesley Gryk Solicitors, an immigration and nationality law firm. There she gained experience in a range of immigration, nationality and asylum applications, developing particular expertise in complex naturalisation applications, registration applications and spouse and partner visas. During her time there, she also delivered legal sessions to Micro Rainbow service users, on potential evidence for LGBTQI asylum claims and what to bear in mind for obtaining indefinite leave to remain after being granted asylum.
Interests: Cooking, podcasts and cello.
