About Laura Hurford
Laura joined Wilsons in November 2024 as a caseworker in the immigration department.
Laura studied History at Oxford University, graduating in 2021. She then completed a Masters of Law at BPP University, receiving a distinction.
While studying her law degree, Laura volunteered with the Refugee Council on their Refugee Advice Project, supporting people who had recently received refugee status in London to access housing, welfare and health services.
Prior to joining Wilsons, Laura worked at Migrant Help as an Outreach adviser for London and the South-East. In this role, she provided advice and guidance to asylum seekers deemed especially vulnerable due to disabilities, domestic violence, trafficking and mental health difficulties.
