About Issy Robson
Issy joined Wilsons in September 2025 as a caseworker in the Public Law and Human Rights department.
Issy holds a Master’s in International Human Rights Law (LLM) from the University of Leeds. During her studies, she volunteered with STAR and Palm Cove Society, supporting refugees and asylum seekers.
After university, Issy worked as an advocate at the charity Hestia, managing a caseload of survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery in London. She later assisted in managing the Ukrainian Resettlement Scheme for a District Council.
Issy then worked as a paralegal at a legal aid firm in the homelessness team, focusing on judicial review challenges against local authorities. Following this, she joined Hodge Jones & Allen in the Civil Liberties department where she assisted with actions against the police and group civil claims. Issy has extensive experience working with vulnerable migrants and trafficking survivors.
Issy is currently studying part time towards the SQE. She was awarded full funding by the Social Welfare Solicitors Qualification Fund (SWSQF) supported by the City of London Law Society, Barbri and Young Legal Aid Lawyers (YLAL).
