About Hester Hill
Hester studied a BSc in Mathematics with Spanish at the University of Exeter, graduating in 2019. She went on to study the GDL at the University of Law. She gained a distinction, including for her dissertation analysing the effectiveness of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. She received a Dean’s Award for the best overall mark in her cohort.
She has previously volunteered with Citizens Advice , working as a generalist advisor. She is a qualified personal trainer and volunteered organising regular fitness classes outside of Napier Barracks for the men housed there. She has also worked as an English-Spanish interpreter. Prior to this, she volunteered at Artefios , an association supporting adults with learning difficulties and ABAC , an organisation supporting people with eating disorders.
Hester joined Wilsons in October 2022 and is supervised by Imogen Townley. She is accredited as a Trainee Casework Assistant under the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme. She is interested in supporting legally aided clients with any of their immigration, asylum and human rights matters.
