About Frankie Boon
Frankie joined Wilsons in January 2025. She is a public law and human rights solicitor, acting in judicial reviews relating to immigration detention, injunctive relief against removal, migrant support and migrant rights. She has experience in acting in civil actions for damages and negotiating settlements. She is particularly interested in representing people with a history of offending who are detained under immigration powers following custodial sentences. Most of her clients are represented under legal aid.
Before joining Wilsons, Frankie worked in the public law team at Duncan Lewis Solicitors for four years, first as a caseworker and then solicitor. She subsequently worked as a solicitor at the charities Hackney Migrant Centre and Rainbow Migration. She has a law degree from the University of Oxford and she completed her training contract at Ashurst LLP. She has volunteered at several charities, including Bail for Immigration Detainees, Reprieve and the National Deaf Children’s Society.
