About Felicity Jones
Felicity graduated from Cardiff University with a First-Class Honours degree in Law and Criminology in 2013. She then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University, Leicester, graduating in 2014 with Distinction. Felicity joined Wilson Solicitors in 2014 as a caseworker. She undertook her training at Wilson Solicitors, qualified as a solicitor in 2018 and has practiced exclusively in family law since then. Felicity was admitted to the Resolution accredited panel in International Children and Public Law Children in 2023.
Felicity undertakes work on both a legal aid and privately paying basis. Felicity’s practice includes divorce and financial remedy, private law children, public law children and international children matters.
Felicity is often instructed by parents who are involved in care proceedings, where the Local Authority are seeking to remove children into care. She is instructed on complex non-accidental injury cases and cases involving mental health concerns, alcohol/ substance abuse and concerns of neglect.
Felicity specialises in international children work and works on complex Hague convention return and Wardship matters in the High Court. Felicity is on the list of panel solicitors with the International Child Abduction and Contact Unit (ICACU) and is instructed, together with Amna Khaliq, on complex Hague return matters where children have been removed to England and Wales from other convention countries. She is also instructed by parents directly who are the Respondents in Hague abduction proceedings and who are alleged to have unlawfully removed their children to England and Wales and parents who are involved in Wardship matters in the High Court where children are removed to/ from non-Hague countries.
