About Ezgi Eser

Ezgi studied Law at the University of Sussex, where she also participated in the Pro Bono Employment Law Clinic, providing legal advice to the local community in collaboration with DMH Stallard. She went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law.

Ezgi joined Wilson Solicitors as an accredited Senior Caseworker under the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme. Prior to joining Wilson Solicitors, she worked at a law firm specialising in immigration and public law. She was involved in successful judicial review challenges, including cases concerning the Home Office’s GPS tracking of migrants and the government’s Rwanda relocation policy, which led to the Secretary of State for the Home Department agreeing to consider asylum claims in the UK. During this time, Ezgi also worked with victims of trafficking and on complex cases involving asylum seekers, often on legally aided matters.

At Wilson Solicitors, Ezgi works across a broad range of immigration and public law matters, undertaking both legal aid and privately funded work. She specialises in assisting vulnerable asylum seekers, including individuals in immigration detention, and advising on private life and human rights claims. She challenges unlawful decisions and practices through judicial review to secure effective remedies for her clients.

In addition to her legal practice, Ezgi has volunteered with a UN affiliated initiative supporting displaced Syrian women in Turkey, helping to empower them through access to legal and social resources.
