About Eva Rovnakova

Eva studied Law at the University of Leeds, graduating in 2023 with a First-Class Honours degree. Her undergraduate dissertation focused on the potential impact of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 on the current legal protection for victims of domestic abuse, examining the likely implementation challenges. She has a particular interest in domestic abuse cases and how this impacts clients facing family law issues. Eva joined Wilsons in October 2023 in the Family Law Department as a Caseworker.

Prior to joining Wilsons, Eva volunteered at the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau, providing support to vulnerable clients in challenging decisions on their benefit claims. She also volunteered at St Vincent’s Centre in Leeds, offering general advice and migrant support to some of the most disadvantaged members of the community.

Eva works in the Family Law Department and is assisting on a range of cases dealing with issues involving domestic abuse, child arrangements, care proceedings and divorce/finances.

Eva is passionate about working with vulnerable clients from varied backgrounds, and is dedicated to Wilsons’ belief in justice for all.
