Solicitor

About Diana Reyes Rafael

Diana is a qualified family law solicitor in England and Wales. She is committed to supporting individuals and families through complex and often emotionally challenging situations with clarity, empathy, and confidence. Her work includes private children matters — particularly contact disputes involving allegations of domestic abuse — as well as public law children’s applications, special guardianship orders, divorce, and injunctions.

Diana is a native Spanish speaker and is passionate about supporting Spanish-speaking communities in the UK, especially those facing barriers to accessing legal advice and protection. Her lived experience and cultural understanding inform her compassionate and inclusive approach to client care.

Diana graduated from SOAS University of London with a law degree in 2020, before completing her LPC LLM in Professional Legal Practice in 2023. Her postgraduate dissertation focused on the legal measures introduced by the Domestic Abuse Act 2021. Diana joined Wilsons in May 2022 as a family law caseworker. She completed her training contract in December 2024 and qualified as a solicitor in January 2025.

Prior to joining Wilsons, Diana worked as a Refuge and VAWG Support Worker at Latin American Women’s Aid (LAWA), a charity providing emergency refuge, advice and support to Latin American and other Black and Ethnic Minority women and their children. She also volunteered at Nucleus Legal Advice Centre and Ealing Advice Centre. Diana is a member of Young Legal Aid Lawyers and the Resolution.
